happy belated birthday singapore! it was national day on the 9th august, but i was either too tired or too busy to blog. haven't got to watch how's the whole of ndp 2005 like, but the crowd on the day was pretty active and lively, it brings out the atmosphere, and ya...make me nervous. the whole parade was pretty smooth, there were cameras flashing here and there, jus don't understand why they don't want to take picture of me, lolx. nevertheless...found this picture in yesterday's straits times.

im inside this picture! 2nd column from the left, 4th guy. 'fire of joy' by the navy contigent! but urm, *sweat*, i covered my own face. means nothing to you, but alot to me alright. lolx. anyway here's something to share, this picture was taken on preview or maybe the NE shows previously, my buddy whom supposed to be beside me wasn't on the ground of padang at the actual day, but he's here right beside me in this picture. or is it the work of the 7th...........

sadly, didn't got to see any stars and also the fireworks, so near yet so far. we went back to camp immediately after the march out, but i'm pretty much contended to see our minister mentor mr lee kuan yew in person. considering what singapore is today, mr lee is someone which i believe other then me, but the world would respect. i remembered mr lee is the only singaporean feature on this TIME magazine, world's 100 most influential people issue. cool uhx? i see mr lee as a cute old man on the day, imagine a old man at the age of 81 sticking his fingers into his ears when the f16 fighter planes fly pass to salute the nation. lolx. i dun always love singapore you know, its only when come to national day and when everyone seems so enthusiastic about it, then i start to feel proud being a singaporean. let's sing a birthday song for singapore.

happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you
happy birthday to singapore,
haappppyyy biiirttthhhddaaayyy toooooo yoooouuuu!
