we had a 'pre-celebration dinner' on sat as valentine's day is on a tuesday. imagine rushing to this place after 5pm and after that home to rest because you hafta wake up at 6-7am, no no..

dinner was at michelangelos' located at this ulu jalan merah saga opposite the ntuc in holland village.










































the restaurant is not very big but ambiance is really nice when night starts to fall. we were there a bit early at around 630, recommended to go after 730, hee. think its a very good place if you know how to appreciate wine, especially when there are so many wine & dine 'awards' hanging at their walls.

michelangelos' serves italian cuisine. ordered a lamb chop for myself. the mint sauce is really green (the sauce at the side of the plate), not very used to that kind of colors, but it do taste good. generous serving of meat, its thick its thick...thickest lamb chop i ever have...














if i'm not used to the green, then think maumau will be having difficulties coping with her full bowl of black! haha..according to the menu, there's this pasta with prawn, scallop, squid...some spaghetti with full of seafood. so maumau ordered that...














look at that, haha. its black pasta. think its squid ink that's why its black. taste quite good actually, but its a bit bitter because of the the ink i guess. the prawn is crispy...the kind i like!

had tiramisu for desert after the main course. maumau says that that is how tiramisu should be. maumau loves it! its a bit bitter at the top, sweet at the outside and squeeze the bottom layer for lotsa wine. we jus dig in our fork when the tiramisu came, regretted not taking a photo of it. boo...

overall, a good place to be! will go back againx!
